PBWU is proud to announce the successful completion of a $400,000 investment to strengthen the community’s sanitary sewer system through the use of Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) technology. The project was completed by Insituform Technologies, the contractor responsible for delivering these essential infrastructure improvements. This trenchless rehabilitation method restores aging pipelines from within, eliminating the need for extensive excavation and minimizing disruption to residents and businesses.
The implementation of CIPP across Pine Bluff has led to a 90% reduction in mainline stoppages since the technology was first adopted, greatly enhancing the reliability, efficiency, and longevity of the city’s sanitary sewer system.
